The football team, cheerleaders, coaches, administration, and family packed the Lower Richland Auditorium on National Signing Day Wednesday February 6 to see defensive lineman Justin Garrick sign a letter of intent to play football for South Carolina State University next season.
Garrick chose S.C. State for its business school. He says he prefers to red shirt his freshman year to adjust to campus life and concentrate on his grades.
Lower Richland coach J.W. Montgomery said, "It's another great day for the Diamond Hornets." Other signees: Dreher- Marquel Goodman, S.C. State; Taurean McDuffie Smith, Lane College.
