Sealed proposals will be received by the City Council of City of Columbia and Richland County, for the City of Columbia Animal Shelter. The proposals of those bidders showing satisfactory evidence that they are appropriately licensed will be publicly opened by the City of Columbia Special Projects Administrator. The work to be done consists of, but not limited to the new construction of the Animal Shelter of about 8100 SF and the addition/ renovation of existing space for feline holding. The work includes all work described in the drawings and specifications, including, but not limited to masonry, concrete, wood trusses and steel structural framing systems, standing seam roofing, and finishes, all associated mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work. Some site and utility work are also included in the project.

The City of Columbia reserves the right to waive technicalities, to reject any or all bids and to make such awards as, in the opinion of City, appear to be to the best interest of City.
