Foundation accepting applications for Stevenson Music Scholarship

The Partners In Education Foundation is accepting applications for the 2008 Dr. John R. Stevenson Music Scholarship. The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a Richland One high- school senior who plans to pursue post- secondary study in music.

Applications and teacher recommendation forms may be downloaded from the district's Web site at www.richlandone.org; click on the Partners In Education link. Applications and recommendation forms are due to the Richland One Office of Communications by 5 pm Friday, April 11, 2008.

The scholarship is named in honor of Richland One Superintendent Emeritus Dr. John R. Stevenson, who served as the district's superintendent from 1986- 1994. Stevenson was inducted into the Richland One Hall of Fame in November 2004.
