Columbia Green continues its May tradition of showcasing private residential gardens in the Greater Columbia area. Twelve gardens in the Forest Acres neighborhood will be featured Thursday, May 15 and Saturday, May 17 with tours running from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm. Refreshments will be served each day from 2 pm until 5 pm at the home of David and Peggy Jacobs. Master Gardeners will be available at each location to answer questions about the gardens' plants, care, and design.

Tickets for the event are $30 for Columbia Green members and $40 for non- members if purchased in advance and $35 and $45 the day of the tour. Tickets are available online at www.columbiagreen.org or by sending a check and ticket request to Jackie Boland, 7 Cherry Lane, West Columbia, S.C. 29170.

Proceeds from this 18th annual Festival of Gardens provide major funding towards the beautification of the Columbia area through gardening, landscaping, horticulture, education, and conservation.
