Book sale

Stock up on a variety of books, CDs, DVDs and more at the Friends of the Richland County Public Library's Spring Book Sale, and support the library!

The Friends' Spring Book Sale will be held from 9 am- 3 pm Saturday, April 12 at the RCPL Operations Center, 130 Lancewood Rd. A preview sale for Friends' members only will take place from 6:30 pm- 8:30 pm Friday, April 11. Memberships, which start at only $25, are available at the door.

Peruse thousands of print and nonprint materials in all genres, from fiction and nonfiction to children's books, bestsellers, and other rare finds for the best bargains in town. Prices start as low as 50 cents for paperbacks, $1 for hard backs and $3 for CDs and DVDs. All materials for sale are in good condition and are donations from the community.

Last year, the four Friends' Book Sales raised more than $65,000 to support special programs and services not available through the library's budget appropriation from Richland County.
