Go Red for Women

Midlands women are invited to participate in national American Heart Association Go Red For Women movement at 2008 Go Red For Women Luncheon Thursday, May 8, 2008 at the Marriott downtown Columbia. Registration begins at 9:30 am. Expo is from 9:30 am- 2 pm. Boutique Breakout Sessions begin at 10:45 am. Eat Your Heart Out lunch at noon.

The event will feature Love Red, Look Red, and Learn Red educational boutiques, red- dress- themed décor, an Eat Your Heart Out luncheon meal, and a key- note address by best- selling Southern author and syndicated columnist Ronda Rich (www.whatsouthernwomenknow. com)

The Love Red Boutique will be themed around glamour and fun.

The Look Red Boutique will be themed around empowering women to take control of their heart health and bring friends into the Red For Women movement.

The Learn Red Boutique will be themed around enrichment and leadership to further the Go Red For Women movement's health impact.

The American Heart Association's 2008 For Women Luncheon Go Red expands awareness, promotes education, and builds passion among Midlands' women to know their personal risk for heart disease, the No. 1 killer of women.
