The Ridge View Blazers and Cardinal Newman Cardinals particpated in the Camden Classic over the Spring break holiday.

Ridge View won the championship. Senior Jay Griffin pitched a complete game shutout against Camden to improve his record to 4- 1. Cameron White hit a two- run homer, his fourth, to help the Blazers defeat Lugoff- Elgin 6- 3 in 8 innings.

The Cardinals defeated Lakewood 4- 2 and Fairfield Central 17- 12, but lost to Camden 10- 1 and Ridge View 8- 5.
