Hollywood rolls out red carpet for Hammond graduate

Ashton Lunceford, a 2005 graduate of Hammond School, attended the red carpet premier for a movie she completed 18 months ago, Extra Ordinary Barry which opened at Laemmie Sunset Theatre on Sunset Boulevard. In the R- rated comedy Lunceford plays a naive massage therapy student from Georgia.

Ashton has lived in Los Angeles since 2004. She is pursuing a degree in art history and auditioning for new roles. She began her career in 2001 with the Millie Lewis Agency where she landed a role in an Oprah Winfrey movie. Since moving to Los Angeles, she has done commercials, TV shows, and a pilot for NBC.
