Christopher Wayne Lindsey and Jessica Anne Cross announce their engagement.

The bride- elect is the daughter of John David and Janice Marie Cross. Her grandparents are Roy Charles Hendershot of Winslow, Arizona, and the late Grace Hendershot; and Joan Hendershot. Her paternal grandparents are Aubrey Cross and the late Martha Cross of Evans, Georgia. The bride- elect graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2006 with a BA in English. She is a freelance writer.

The bridegroom elect is the son Ronald Wayne and Victoria Francis Lindsey. His grandparents are Mrs. Ida Moorer Dantzler and the late Elvin Herbert Dantzler of Eutawville, South Carolina. His paternal grandparents are the late Bill Lindsey and the late Mildred Lindsey. He will graduate from Columbia International University with a BS in psychology in May. He is currently working at Palmetto Baptist Hospital.

The wedding will take place May 24, 2008, in Lexington, South Carolina.
