Chartock takes State
Youth Gymnastics

Contributed by Ellen Humphries Violette Chartock (right), was the 15+ age division all- around state champion for the Level 10 USAG state competition held recently. She also placed first on beam and floor. Chartock is a junior in the IB program at A.C. Flora and a member of the Carolina Gymnastics Center team. She will compete April 20 in the Region 8 competition in Huntsville, Alabama. That meet determines who will advance to the national competition in May. Second place was Katie Gonzalez (left) also a member of CGC, and a senior at Dutch Fork. She was second all- around champ, and first place on bars.
