Rockin' on the Rooftop
Kids activities included a moonwalk and a super slide and sidewalk art. Hometown Racer, Jordan Anderson, was on hand with his City sponsored truck. Jordan has moved on to the truck racing circuit this season and reports that thus far, his season has been highly successful. He also brought along one of his racing go- karts so the little ones could take a turn behind the wheel.
There was plenty of good food from Forest Acres restaurants as well as ice cream and beverages. The crowd rocked, shagged, and boogied to the music of four great bands, The Men of Distinction, Rock Candy, Fresh Air, and The Root Doctors. Though attendance was light early on due to the weather, the crowd grew larger as the day progressed proving once again that good clean family fun is alive and thriving in Forest Acres.
