Miss Turnbull and Mr. Humphries plan August 2008 wedding

Mrs. William Julian Rock and Mr. John Robert Turnbull Jr. of Columbia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jane Wallis Turnbull, to Carey Alan Humphries, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wayne Humphries of Rainbow City, Alabama.

The bride- elect is granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Elliot Crum and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Robert Turnbull. She is a 1996 graduate of Dreher High School. She graduated with a B.A. in psychology, M.Ed. summa cum laude in Community Agency Counseling and is currently working on her Ph.D. in rehabilitation counseling, all from Auburn University.

The bridegroom- elect is the grandson of Mr. Louie Chester Humphries and the late Mrs. Emily Jo Humphries and Mrs. Ruth Hare Farmer and the late Mr. Webster Moody Hare. He is a 1996 graduate of Coosa Christian High School and a 2002 graduate from Auburn University with a BS in electrical engineering and has been employed with Alabama Power since 1998.

The wedding is planned for August 2, 2008 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Columbia.
