Happy 90th birthday Buford Franklin

Buford Franklin celebrated his 90th birthday with a cake & ice cream drop- in given by his children at St. Andrews Lutheran Church April 20, 2008. Franklin has five children, eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He is married to Virginia Kell Franklin. He was voted "Most Courteous" in college and all his friends and family still claim he is the most courteous, sweetest man they know. He has been honored in his service to St. Andrews Lutheran Men; the Ruritan Club; and his alma mater, Berry College, in Rome, Georgia. Franklin retired as a certified industrial therapist with the State Mental Health System in Columbia.
