Operation Inasmuch

Four Columbia Lutheran congregations reached out with the love of Christ in 21 different service projects around Columbia on Saturday, April 26, 2008. "Operation Inasmuch" was a one day community mission blitz involving more than 200 people from Good Shepherd Lutheran, St. Paul's Lutheran, Christ the King Lutheran and the Lutheran Campus Ministry at USC. They accomplished the following:

Free car wash • graphitti removal • wheelchair ramps • yard clean up and beautification for Lowman Home and several senior citizens • flower and garden plantings for residents of Mikell's Run • clean up and yard work at the Ronald McDonald House and a local Sistercare facility • walker bags for area senior facilities • Bags of Hope for Lutheran Hospice patients • work for Pets Inc. • cards and gift items for Lutheran Hospice patients • and care kits for various shelters.
