Contributed by Nola Armstrong

Officials at the Moore Orthopaedic Clinic recently announced the completion of the Ambulatory Surgery Center at 104 Saluda Pointe Drive in Lexington. The new facility houses physician offices, administration offices, a performance enhancement training center and expanded physical therapy services area for adults as well as children.

The Center is equipped with state- of- the- art surgery suites as well as physical rehabilitation and imaging services areas. Classrooms at the Center will soon link physicians and other healthcare providers to continuing education seminars anywhere in the world via satellite connections and the internet. Training/playing fields are being designed as a compliment to the facility's programs.

"The opening of our Ambulatory Surgery Center marks the expansion of our sports medicine services and provides more space for physical and occupational therapy of all types," commented Sean McNally, chief executive officer of Moore Orthopaedic Clinic. "This expansion will provide more office and treatment areas for our healthcare providers. Just off I- 20 at Highway 378 in Lexington, this newest location is already proving to be a favorite of our patients because of its proximity to the interstate."
