Miss Northern to compete for Miss S.C.

Sarah Anne Clough will compete in the Miss South Carolina Pageant in July. With her is Sen. Joel Lourie.

Sarah Anne Clough, Miss Northern 2008, a graduating homeschooler from Columbia will be competing in The Miss South Carolina Pageant July 1- 5 in Spartanburg, SC. She was featured in The Columbia Star as a toddler many years ago as Star Child.

Clough's platform is FAITH- Fine Arts In The Hearts of youth, reaching out to inner city, abused, and neglected children as they discover their hidden gifts in the arts. She currently works with a group of 11 inner city children through her program.

Clough will attend Columbia College in the fall where she will double major with a BFA in dance performance and choreography and a BA in dance education. She dances and teaches at The Divine Playhouse under the direction of Pam Bailey.

Pete and Cindy Clough are Sarah Anne's parents. Sarah Anne has a younger sister, Emily Jayne, and three dogs: Ellie, Rebel, and Dixie.
